Lessons

All lessons are private, with the occasional exception of small group sessions with similarly skilled riders (upon request). The concentrated 30-45 minutes of ride time allows me to focus exclusively on each rider and horse and help the pair advance in the most effective way possible.

Riders are expected to arrive early, groom and tack up their horse, and then untack after the lesson. Therefore, riders can expect to spend more than an hour total working with and riding their horse. I spend time teaching new riders how to groom and tack their horse so that they can eventually prepare for their ride independently. Lessons are billed in advance and for the entire upcoming month.

I am also happy to offer ground lessons. Ground lessons are designed to teach individuals how to do ground work and some more advanced horse care. Long-lining (ground driving), lunging, wraping, for example, can all be beneficial and help a horse and rider team bond.

Private lessons: $60
Ground lesson: $50

LEASING

Looking for a bit more than lessons each week? Then leasing may be a good option. The full and half lease options include boarding fees, one lesson each week, and basic horse care (vet, dental, farrier). They also allow you to ride the horse 2 (half) or 3 (full) additional times per week. The day lease option is ideal for those wanting to sneak in an occasional extra practice ride!

Half Lease: $750
Full Lease: $1000
Day lease: $65

TRAINING

I take on a limited number of training horses in order to maximize the quality time spent with each. Training board can be tailored to you and your horse’s individual needs and circumstances. Training board includes full board and a total of 3 sessions per week (can be a combination of training rides and lessons).

Single training rides: $65

Full Training: $1600
This includes full board plus 4 training rides or lessons (any combination) per week on your horse.

Partial Training: $1200
This includes full board plus 2 training rides or lessons (any combination) per week on your horse.

BOARDING

Full care board w/Runout stall and daily access to large pasture ($650/month):
Each stall has its own run into either a dry lot or into a run that can lead to larger pastures. Horse are out all day, every day. We will rotate pastures as needed, but horses will have access to pastures year-round. Board includes supplemental hay as needed, feeding of owner supplied grain/supplements, stalls cleaned daily, a storage box at each stall, access to a shared tack room, and access to all farm amenities.

Pasture board ($500/month):
Horses turned out in mare and gelding herds in large pastures and have access to a 24x48 shed for shelter. Access to clean water, large bales provided when needed, and owner provided grain/supplements can be fed daily. You will have access to a shared tack room, the indoor arena, and other farm amenities.

Retirement board ($400/month):
This option is meant for horses that are no longer in work and simply looking for exceptional care and a large field to enjoy. There are mare and gelding herds, and each has access to a large shelter. Supplemental hay will be brought in when necessary, and we can feed owner provided grain/supplements. Horses will be checked over daily.

SHOWING

While it is by no means required or pushed, for those interested, we will attend local shows throughout the year. Shows are a fun way to ride at different venues, meet new friends, and test your growing skill set! I am happy to discuss this with anyone interested!

Lease of lesson horse: $100 for entire weekend and per family
Local Hauling: $125/horse
Coaching Fee: $65/day/rider (includes all rides and coaching throughout each day)
Bedding: Market price (we bring our own as it is cheaper than buying at the show)

CAMPS

Starting in the summer of 2025, Aspiring Equestrian will offer summer camps for all ages and levels of riders! Stay posted for announcements on this front.
